Nairobi – ICT4D Project Lighthouse Kenya Deputy Country Director Enrico Scharrenberg and Freie Universität Berlin project manager Matthias Duchscherer met with ICT key stakeholders in Kenya. The discussions and information exchange at the end of 2013 helped to explore current ICT-based local information and communication systems for development.
Meetings with ihub Kenya, Google Kenya, Orange, the University of Nairobi, the UNESCO Regional Office for East Africa and major online content providers led to their participation in the planned workshop in January 2014.
