Preparation for future content work

Ziguinchor – Fighting disinformation was a hot topic during the second and final workshop of the project, which took place in Casamance. The workshop was based on the results of the first workshop, the network already established in this region, and the preliminary results of the data collection conducted so far.

Fighting disinformation

The aim was to develop criteria for future content-related work on the topic of combating disinformation and to achieve declarations of readiness for future cooperation among the partners in the network.

Formalization

Especially for the formalization of the last step, the agreement of the partners on future cooperation within the framework of the signing of a joint declaration, a high-ranking representative of the state of Bavaria, MdL Klaus Steiner, took part in the event.

Successful cooperations

Supported by the Bavarian State Chancellery and the Technical University of East Bavaria, this was another successful step for the Project Lighthouse Africa e.V. in its close cooperation with its Senegalese partner organization AHDIS.
