As Project Lighthouse Africa (PLA) is actively contributing to the Common Effort working group on Narrative Management since 2019, it is consequent that PLA joined the Common Effort Community (CEC) in 2021.

The CEC, founded in 2010 by the 1 German-Netherlands Corps, currently comprises more than 60 civilian, military, governmental and non-governmental organizations, mainly from Germany and the Netherlands with a focus on civil-military cooperation and the practical implementation of the comprehensive (integrated) approach.

With its signature PLA agreed on the Joint Statement to contribute to a safe and secure world in which men and women live with dignity enjoying their universal human rights.
